Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Tabsurfer browser extension and website (the “Service”) operated by Odysi Holdings Ltd (“Tabsurfer,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Tabsurfer is a browser extension and web dashboard that helps users manage, organize, and save browser tabs. Features include saving groups of tabs, adding notes, scheduling tabs, exporting data, and syncing your account across devices.
2. Accounts
When you create an account using Google Sign-In, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activity under your account
Tabsurfer is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your account.
Minimum age to use the Service is 13 years old, consistent with Google Sign-In requirements.
3. Purchases and Payments
Tabsurfer offers a one-time Pro upgrade. All payments are processed securely by our Merchant of Record: Polar.sh.
- We do not store credit card or payment details.
- No refunds are provided except where required by law.
By making a purchase, you also agree to Polar.sh’s terms and policies.
4. License to Use
Subject to these Terms, Tabsurfer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the extension for personal use.
Commercial or automated use requires our written consent.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service:
- In violation of any applicable law or regulation
- To impersonate another person or entity
- To upload or distribute harmful, fraudulent, or malicious content
- To reverse engineer or attempt to access the Service’s underlying code
- To automate, scrape, or harvest data from the Service
- In any manner that degrades performance or harms other users
- To interfere with or disable any features of the Service
Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination.
6. Browser Permissions & Data Access
Tabsurfer requests only the permissions necessary to operate.
Tabsurfer does not access browser history.
Tabsurfer does access:
- Currently open tabs (when you trigger a save/collapse action)
- Tab titles and URLs
- Saved groups, notes, and schedules
- Storage and sync APIs
- Alarms (for scheduled openings)
- Notifications
- Context menus
- Downloads (only for exporting CSV)
This access occurs only to perform the features requested by the user.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, branding, software, and functionality of the Service are owned by Tabsurfer and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.
8. Data Loss, Reliability, and Availability
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Support is not guaranteed
- The Service may experience downtime
- Syncing across devices is offered “as available”
- Tabsurfer is not liable for lost tabs, corrupted data, sync errors, or failures related to browser updates or third-party services
You are encouraged to regularly export your data as a CSV file.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service.
Upon termination, you must stop using the extension immediately.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tabsurfer and Odysi Holdings Ltd are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, browser tabs, notes, or schedules
- Service interruptions
- Errors caused by browser updates or third-party APIs
- Unauthorized access to your account
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the Pro upgrade, if any.
11. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
Tabsurfer makes no warranties regarding:
- Uninterrupted operation
- Compatibility with all browsers
- Absence of bugs or errors
- Accuracy or reliability of saved data
Use the Service at your own risk.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after the changes means you accept the updated Terms.
